About the Role
As an Adjunct Nurse Faculty, you will be responsible for facilitating student learning, supervising students in clinical settings, and collaborating with the Clinical Director for student placements. You will utilize various teaching methodologies to meet diverse learner needs and ensure compliance with institutional policies. Your role will also include maintaining office hours for student support and participating in faculty meetings to improve educational outcomes.
About You
Required:
- Active and encumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Master's degree in nursing required.
- Three or more years of teaching experience required.
- Three or more years of clinical experience required in the specialty being taught.
Preferred:
- Medical Surgical and Mental Health background strongly preferred.
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
