Inside Higher Ed is seeking an Adjunct Pool for Sports Management Program to join their team at North Central College in Naperville, IL. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Sport Management Program during the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 academic years.
About the Role
As an Adjunct Pool faculty associate, you will be responsible for teaching one or two courses per semester, either in-person or online. Your duties will include delivering course content, creating assignments and assessments, evaluating student work, and holding office hours. This position is part-time and contingent upon course needs and enrollment.
About You
Required:
- Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or a concentration in the discipline with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
- All degrees must be from an accredited institution.
Preferred:
- Prior higher education teaching experience.
- Experience facilitating student-led classroom discussions.
- Evidence of working with a diverse student population.
- Evidence of effective collaboration skills.
- Experience with technology/course management systems (e.g. Canvas).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
