New York State Center for Recruitment & Public Service is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Supervisor of Support Services) to join their team in Albany, NY. The role involves coordinating multiple support services functions for the Office of Employee Relations and the New York State Labor-Management Committees.

About the Role

As the Supervisor of Support Services, you will oversee the receipt, sorting, and distribution of mail and packages, ensure timely completion of courier services, audit shipping invoices, and ensure compliance with USPS mailing regulations. You will also plan and coordinate office moves, manage agency records, and oversee IT operations, among other duties.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and move pallets of boxes using a pallet jack.

Preferred:

Experience with the Statewide Financial System.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
