Ecumen is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Apple Valley, MN. The role involves providing confidential, professional administrative support in accordance with established policies and procedures.
About the Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for answering phones, sending correspondence, data entry, issuing receipts, assisting with administrative projects, and maintaining filing systems. You will also assist with inventory control and purchasing of medical and office supplies, and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Excellent customer service and phone skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to meet deadlines despite distractions and interruptions.
Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred:
Prior customer service experience.
Experience working with seniors.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and communications.
