About the Role
As a Department Administrative Assistant, you will gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources. You will coordinate and track the progress of unit work assignments and/or projects, maintain and update confidential reports and records, and prepare requested reports. You will also respond to routine requests for information and ensure compliance with laws and regulations while working safely according to established procedures.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of assigned functional area principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Good organization skills.
- Ability to identify issues.
- Basic analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of computer operations and applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
