Inside Higher Ed is seeking an Administrative Associate Sr. to join their team in Beaumont, TX. The role involves handling day-to-day operations of the department, providing administrative and office support.
About the Role
As an Administrative Associate Sr., you will be responsible for maintaining and processing travel requests, editing and writing departmental documents, preparing routine program and office documents, processing requisitions, providing statistics for reports, sorting mail, maintaining departmental supplies, organizing files, and performing various other administrative tasks under minimal supervision.
About You
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience working in an office environment.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Strong customer service and detail-oriented skills.
- Must be highly organized and motivated and able to maintain deadlines.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in business or related field.
- Work experience in a higher education institution.
- Experience working with Banner.
