About the Role

The position requires a strong understanding of legal principles and the ability to make sound judgments in a quasi-judicial setting.
About You
Required:
- Admission to the NYS bar and two years of post-licensure professional legal experience for Administrative Law Judge.
- 12 months as an Assistant Attorney 2 or equivalent legal experience for Assistant Administrative Law Judge.
Preferred:
- At least three years of experience as a New York State Attorney.
- Strong research and writing skills, excellent oral communication skills, and sound judgment.
