About the Role
As an Administrative Law Judge, you will engage in professional legal work, conducting hearings for adjudicating moving traffic violations, fatal accidents, and violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law. You will also prepare cases for review by the Motor Vehicle's Appeals Board and render decisions on various legal matters influenced by state laws and regulations.
About You
Required:
- Admission to the NYS bar and two years of post-licensure professional legal experience for Administrative Law Judge.
- 12 months as an Assistant Attorney 2 or equivalent legal experience for Assistant Administrative Law Judge.
Preferred:
- At least three years of experience as a New York State Attorney.
- Strong research and writing skills, excellent oral communication skills, and sound judgment.
