About the Role
As an Admit Clerk I, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, performing patient registrations, verifying insurance information, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors. You will also handle billing inquiries, maintain cash drawers, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Previous admitting experience in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to perform data entry using EPIC.
- Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
