About the Role
As an Admixture Tech II, you will float between all 4 Health First Cancer Institute locations. Your primary responsibilities include performing duties of the HFMG Admixture Technician I, attending pharmacy staff meetings, participating in training programs, maintaining patient confidentiality, generating reports, and onboarding new associates. You will also problem-solve clinical documentation issues and act as a liaison between nurses, providers, and benefit advisors to streamline patient care.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of technician experience with 2 or more years of sterile compounding and at least 6 months compounding hazardous drugs.
- Current State of Florida Pharmacy Technician registration or current State of Florida Pharmacy Intern registration.
Preferred:
- National pharmacy technician certification by the PTCB.
- 3-5 years of technical experience with 2 or more years of sterile compounding experience and at least 6 months of hazardous drug mixing.
- Leadership experience.
