About the Role
As an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) in the NICU, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient health evaluations, developing and reviewing care plans, and participating in the education of medical and nursing students. You will manage individualized care for patients, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure high-quality care for neonatal patients.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing or MEC approved equivalent.
- National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
- American Heart Association Neonatal BLS Certification.
Preferred:
- Neonatal ICU, acute care or pediatric experience.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- NNP or ACPNP certification.
