Summary

Connecticut Department of Administrative Services is seeking an Advanced Clinical Social Worker to join their Mobile Crisis Team in Torrington, CT. The role involves providing clinical services and crisis interventions in the community.

About the Role

As an Advanced Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting crisis evaluations, formulating immediate interventions, and providing intake services. You will work collaboratively with various agencies and community providers, link community members to appropriate care, and provide individual and group psychotherapy. Additionally, you will develop recovery plans, document treatment interventions, and provide clinical supervision to staff and interns.

About You

Required:

One year of experience as a licensed clinical social worker.
Possession of a license to practice clinical social work in Connecticut.

Preferred:

Experience providing trauma-informed services to individuals with severe mental illness.
Experience completing intake assessments and initial care planning.
Experience in community-based crisis assessments.
