About the Role
As an Advanced Medical Instructor I, you will serve as primary teaching staff in multiple medical curriculum courses, providing instruction and support for various Combat Medic medical courses. Your responsibilities will include coordinating classes, preparing lesson plans, conducting large-group and small-group instruction, and serving as a technical consultant during surgical and live tissue blocks of instruction. You will also assist in evaluating new medical technology and mentor students in professional medical matters.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of a World Health Organization accredited medical school or an accredited physician assistant program or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLS-I), and Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) Instructor.
- Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience in delivering medical instruction in a military or tactical environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
