About the Role
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, minor surgical procedures, and managing medical emergencies. You will see scheduled patients as well as walk-ins, provide telephone consultations, and participate in quality improvement activities. The position requires managing patients within the scope of your training and approved privileges, with no categorical limits on the types of clinical problems addressed.
About You
Required:
- Completion of an approved Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Nurse Practitioner.
- Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the DEA.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in a community health setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
