About the Role
About You
- Completion of a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Clinical Nurse Specialist program.
- 3-5 years in a clinical setting such as inpatient, hospice/homecare, outpatient or community based palliative care.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current DEA certification (verified during credentialing process).
- Currently licensed as an APRN, ANCC, AACN or AANP by the Minnesota Board of Nursing; approved for prescription writing privileges.
- Currently licensed as a RN by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Certified by a national nurse certification organization acceptable to Minnesota Board of Nursing (i.e. CNS or NP).
- Licensed as a PA with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
- NCCPA certification.
- Approved for prescription writing privileges by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Palliative Care or related fields.
- Minimum of 1-3 years as APP (NP, CNS or PA).
- Palliative Care Certified.
- 3 years of hospital-based experience.
