AdventHealth is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) for their Medical Group General Surgery at Celebration, located in Kissimmee, FL. This full-time role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
About the Role
As a Physician Assistant (PA-C), you will manage patient care and serve as a surgical first assist. Your responsibilities will include performing patient histories and physical exams, handling daily patient rounds, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with physicians and staff to provide consistent patient care. You will also be required to work a flexible schedule and participate in a call rotation.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license.
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other nationally recognized certification organization.
- BLS & ACLS certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in surgical settings with first assist experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple physicians and advanced practice providers.
