About the Role
As an Advisor - Circular mRNA Optimization, you will be responsible for establishing cell-based assays to evaluate mRNA activity, coordinating formulation and in vivo studies, and contributing to the company's intellectual property portfolio. You will work closely with internal teams to communicate results and recommendations, driving project decision-making.
About You
Required:
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline with 2+ years of relevant academic or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Expertise in mRNA (circular and linear) sequence design and familiarity with common molecular biology design software (SnapGene, Geneious, etc.).
- Experience with applications of RNA chemistry for mRNA therapeutics.
- Hands-on experience with developing and running mRNA screening assays in primary cells.
- Experience with in vivo study design in mouse models.
- Relevant publication record in academic and/or patent literature.
