About the Role
As an Advocacy Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to clients and members, managing case files, and collaborating with care coordinators to meet organizational goals. Your duties will include monitoring intake phone lines and assisting case managers with various tasks as assigned.
About You
Required:
- Associates Degree/ Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
- 3+ years of customer service or direct client experience.
- Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous experience in care management processes preferably in a health plan.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
