SavATree is seeking an Aerial Operations Specialist to join their team in Northvale, NJ. The role involves climbing and pruning trees, performing tree care techniques, and ensuring safety standards are met.
About the Role
As an Aerial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and preserving the health of clients' landscapes. Your daily tasks will include climbing and pruning large shade trees and ornamentals, performing removals and cable bracing, safely operating chainsaws and aerial lifts, and working collaboratively with your team to deliver high-quality service.
About You
Required:
- Experience with proper pruning practices for large shade trees and ornamentals.
- Ability to identify native and introduced tree/shrub species and their characteristics.
- Ability to climb without spurs.
- Knowledge of tree care safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with chainsaws and related equipment.
- Experience operating aerial lifts (bucket truck).
- A valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL a plus).
- Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
