Summary
PPG is seeking an Aerospace Customer Property and Proposal Support Manager to join their team in Sylmar, CA. The role involves managing Military Tooling and U.S. Government Defense articles and providing proposal support.
About the Role
As an Aerospace Customer Property and Proposal Support Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer-owned tooling, maintaining tooling status and locations, overseeing tooling movements, and coordinating U.S. Government proposal responses. You will also assist in organizing and editing proposal documents to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant academic discipline or three (3) or more years’ experience in manufacturing, operations, or customer service.
- Familiarity with US Government proposals, associated proposal sites, and RFP/RFQ processes and terminology.
- Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain an industrial powered equipment license.
- Must currently hold or have the ability to obtain U.S. security clearance.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of government procurement processes (e.g. FAR/DFARS).
