NAVWAR is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join their team at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest located at Naval Base Coronado, San Diego, California. The role involves performing in-service engineering functions on modern Navy and Marine Corps aircraft platforms.
About the Role
As an Aerospace Engineer, you will be responsible for developing engineering documents, engineering change proposals, and technical directives. You will ensure the airworthiness of aircraft platforms and sustain their economic operation. The position may require travel to various locations and obtaining a security clearance.
About You
Required:
Must be a US Citizen.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and practices related to rotary and fixed-wing aircraft.
Preferred:
Experience in developing products and services for aircraft systems.
Professional registration as an Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT).
Experience with logistics management policies and procedures in aircraft acquisition and maintenance.
