Summary
PPG is seeking an Aerospace Senior Process Engineer to join their team in Sylmar, California. The role involves supporting the design, control, and advancement of manufacturing processes.
About the Role
As an Aerospace Senior Process Engineer, you will own process capability and performance across the manufacturing lifecycle, driving statistical control, robustness, and continuous improvement to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing control plans, analyzing process performance data, assisting with tooling design, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting new product introductions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related STEM field.
- 7+ years of experience in process and/or manufacturing engineering within a regulated environment.
- U.S. Citizenship, Green Card holder, or political asylee/refugee eligibility.
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with CAD and process modeling using SolidWorks or CATIA.
- Prior Aerospace experience, especially with plastics, composites, coatings, or other specialty materials.

- Base salary range of $100k–$125k with a possibility of an annual bonus up to 7% of base salary.
