About the Role
As an Affiliate Clinical Counselor, you will provide in-person counseling services to a diverse range of clients facing personal, professional, or family challenges. Your responsibilities include adapting short-term interventions, managing varied clinical cases, and facilitating referrals to community resources as needed.
About You
Required:
- Hold a master’s or doctoral degree related to social work, psychology, psychoeducation, psychotherapy, or sexology.
- Be a member in good standing of your professional order in Quebec.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Have post-graduate counseling experience with diverse populations.
- Be able to establish short-term therapeutic goals using a solution-focused approach.
- Be comfortable managing high-risk situations and knowledgeable about available community resources.
