About the Role
As an After School Coach, you will work with small groups of children in grades K-6, focusing on developing their physical literacy, teamwork abilities, and gross motor skills. You will utilize positive reinforcement and maintain a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure each child feels confident. Your responsibilities include maintaining equipment, updating class rosters, and completing student progress reports. The position is ideal for part-time workers and those with a passion for sports and working with children.
About You
Required:
- Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.
- Reliable transportation to local schools and parks.
- Effective communication skills to build relationships with children and parents.
- Punctuality for after-school classes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience in coaching Tennis, Golf, and/or Pickleball.
- Ability to bring personality and fun to classes.
