About the Role
As an After School Program Instructor, you will facilitate a one-hour science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum. Your responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the children, engaging them in fun activities, and demonstrating various scientific concepts through hands-on projects. You will be scheduled at a local school for either 6 or 8 consecutive weeks, with programs typically starting between 3-3:45 PM and lasting 1.5 hours.
About You
Required:
- Experience working with children.
- Reliable car and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Vaccinated for COVID-19.
Preferred:
- Background in science and/or experience performing.
Benefits
- $40 for a 1.5 hour program.
- Mileage compensation for any program over 25 miles round trip.
