Summary
Neighborhood Learning Alliance is seeking Afterschool Staff to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves supporting K-5 students in afterschool programs focused on skill development and community engagement.
About the Role
As an Afterschool Staff member, you will be responsible for implementing the afterschool model, developing students' skills in reading and STEM, managing daily programming and activities, and ensuring a safe and organized environment. You will also support children's academic and social-emotional needs and participate in team meetings.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; Some college experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Preferred:
- Passion for serving the community and ensuring student success.
- Basic knowledge of using technology (computers, iPad, tablets, projector, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
