Allegheny Health Network is seeking an AHN Director Construction to lead system-wide capital construction initiatives in Pittsburgh, PA.
About the Role
As the AHN Director Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of capital construction projects, including hiring and performance management, strategic planning, and compliance with regulations. You will coordinate with architects and engineers, develop programmatic plans, and ensure effective utilization of facilities. Your role will also involve preparing presentations for management and establishing benchmarks for operational effectiveness.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, facility management, business administration, construction management or a similarly pertinent field of study.
- 15 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
- 10 years of experience in multi-site operational leadership in a healthcare setting.
- 5 years of experience managing facility information management and building automation systems.
- 10 years of experience in multi-site management of facility infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, facility management, business administration, construction management or a similarly pertinent field of study.
- Certified Healthcare Facility Manager.
- Certified Facility Manager.
- OSHA 30 Hour certification.
- ICRA 8 Hour certification.
