About the Role
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will design, fine-tune, and optimize large language models for healthcare-specific NLP tasks, develop document understanding pipelines, and build end-to-end ML solutions. You will collaborate with clinicians and product managers, deploy models into production, and stay current with advancements in AI and healthcare research.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied NLP.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with NLP applied to unstructured text.
- Experience working with LLMs, including prompting strategies and fine-tuning.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI services and Azure Machine Learning.
- Experience with clinical NLP libraries (scispaCy, medspaCy, cTAKES).
- Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies and ontologies (ICD-10, SNOMED CT, RxNorm).
- Experience collaborating with non-technical domain experts.
