About the Role
As an AI/ML Systems Engineer Technical Advisor, you will evaluate advanced AI/ML concepts, assist with analysis of alternatives, develop briefings and reports, provide acquisition advisory services, design and test machine learning models, integrate AI models into software systems, preprocess and analyze datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math discipline with 2+ years of experience in applying AI to practical solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or R, with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and data modeling.
- Judgment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills for written reports, group discussions, and oral presentations.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and version control systems (Git).
- Experience in systems engineering and integration applied to spacecraft, ground, and launch systems.
- Experience in R&D of artificial intelligence/machine learning agents.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies applied to space systems.
- Prior small to mid-size team leadership experience.
- Prior technical project/program management experience.
- Ability to translate implied customer inputs to explicit project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
