ZS is seeking an AI Engineering Specialist to join their team in Evanston, IL. The role involves overseeing task planning, managing client expectations, and leading technical discussions to drive project success in the Scaled AI practice.
About the Role
As an AI Engineering Specialist, you will collaborate with data scientists to create AI models, manage the complete ML lifecycle, and take ownership of architecture design for scalable software systems. Your responsibilities include mentoring junior team members, ensuring code quality, and implementing DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong coding skills with proficiency in Python and Javascript.
- Experience with API frameworks such as Fast API and Django.
- Proficient in cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Databricks, and Azure.
- Proficient in Infra-as-Code, focused on developing Terraform scripts and Cloudformation.
- Strong understanding of scalable application design principles.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with front-end development (React JS, Next JS, Tailwind CSS).
- Strong experience in LLM patterns like RAG, Vector DB, Hybrid Search.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in production deployments involving thousands of users.
