About the Role
As an AI Subject Matter Expert, you will lead the identification and development of AI use cases, advise on model selection and evaluation methods, assess AI solutions for performance and ethical considerations, and translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders. This hybrid role serves as a bridge between business needs, technical teams, and leadership.
About You
Required:
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- 5+ years of professional experience in applied AI/machine learning, data science, or AI product development.
- At least 2-3 years of direct experience with AI/ML systems, including generative AI.
- Strong understanding of AI concepts, including model behavior and evaluation.
- Experience designing or advising on real-world AI use cases.
- Ability to explain AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience evaluating the risks and limitations of AI systems.
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with DevOps or MLOps concepts.
- Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and APIs.
- Awareness of cybersecurity considerations for AI systems.
- Experience working in regulated or high-security environments.
