Summary
CommQuest Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-time or Full-time Alumni & Recovery Community Engagement Coordinator to join their team in Canton, OH. The role focuses on supporting sustained recovery for individuals following treatment by maintaining connections with alumni and fostering engagement with the broader recovery community.
About the Role
As an Alumni & Recovery Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining regular outreach and communication with alumni and recovery community participants, recruiting and supervising peer support specialists, planning and facilitating bi-monthly Recovery Council meetings, organizing events such as the annual Recovery Picnic and quarterly alumni gatherings, and representing the organization at community recovery events. You will also assist with newsletters, announcements, social media content, and track participation and engagement metrics.
About You
Required:
- Experience in behavioral health, recovery support, peer services, or community engagement.
- Certified Peer Recovery certification through the Ohio Professionals Board.
- Demonstrated ability to engage individuals in recovery and build supportive relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in both office and community settings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Availability for rotating on-call shifts, some evenings and weekends required.
