About the Role

As an Ambulatory Coding Manager, you will oversee a team of two direct reports and 23 FTEs, participate in optimization and design sessions for current and new/upgraded products, and work with physicians and practice support staff to ensure documentation meets regulatory standards. You will be responsible for mentoring and educating staff while holding them accountable.

About You

Required:

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least five years of experience working in an ambulatory care or hospital setting required.
Minimum of three years of coding experience.
CPC certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Preferred:

Membership in AAPC or AHIMA highly preferred.
Experience with RCx and Meditech is a plus.
