About the Role

As an AME Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing specifications, reviewing designs, and managing suppliers for custom automation projects. Your daily tasks will include programming and integrating PLCs, robotics, motion systems, and machine vision solutions, ensuring seamless equipment integration with MES and data systems, and leading equipment validation and production handover. You will also drive process optimization and standardization across manufacturing lines while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or related engineering field.
7+ years’ experience in equipment design and manufacturing automation.
Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming (Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and 3D design (SolidWorks or equivalent).
Experience with robotics, motion control, pneumatics, and machine vision systems.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel internationally up to 30%.
Familiar with process engineering fundamentals (Cp, CpK, etc.)

Preferred:

Experience in high-volume thin ceramics, solar, and battery manufacturing.
3–6 years of experience in thermal equipment/process development and high-volume manufacturing integration.
