Summary
McWane India Private Limited is seeking a 2nd Shift Material Handler to join their team in Trussville, AL. The role involves the reconciliation of incoming and outgoing materials and the movement of finished goods.
About the Role
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers. Your daily tasks will include sorting cargo, attaching identifying tags, reading work orders, maintaining equipment storage areas, packing containers, and operating material handling equipment. You will also be required to monitor cargo area conditions and perform other duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Must be able to pass Forklift Certification process.
Preferred:
- Experience with inventory tracking software.
- Experience with data entry software and handheld computer device software.
