About You
- One-year certificate from a college or technical school in industrial refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial refrigeration, preferably in a food or protein processing environment.
- Strong understanding of ammonia-based refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex refrigeration equipment independently.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in cold or wet environments as needed.
- Ability to work independently during 3rd shift hours and respond quickly to emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation and safety compliance.
- Working knowledge of PSM regulations, EPA reporting, and food safety requirements.
