Lightshift Energy is seeking an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team in Washington, DC Metro Area. The role involves key responsibilities in short-term and long-term financial planning, focusing on developing financial models and conducting in-depth financial analysis.
About the Role
As an Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will report to the Head of Corporate Finance and play a crucial role in enhancing financial and operational models, managing financial reviews, and supporting the budgeting process. You will assist in preparing presentations for the Board and management, conduct cash flow analysis, and coordinate with accounting and treasury for accurate reporting.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS in finance, accounting, economics, or related degree; CPA/CFA a plus.
- 2+ years of experience with corporate FP&A; preferably in renewable energy.
- Proficient in Excel; ability to build, manipulate and interpret complex financial models.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Proficient in PowerPoint and other reporting tools; skilled in creating presentations.
- Entrepreneurial team player with ability to drive business execution and performance.
- Understanding of GAAP financial accounting.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
