John Hancock is seeking an Analyst, Real Estate Asset Management to join their team in El Segundo, CA. The role involves providing financial analysis and support for asset-level decision-making and transactions within the growing platform of Manulife Investment Management.
About the Role
As an Analyst in Real Estate Asset Management, you will support the Asset Management team primarily for West Coast assets. Your responsibilities will include complex financial modeling, production of investment memorandums, and collaboration with Asset Managers on leasing, property management, and capital projects. You will also assist in acquisitions and dispositions, conduct market trend analysis, and support ongoing loan compliance activities.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Real Estate from a top academic institution.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of validated experience preferably from top capital markets brokerage firms or institutional real estate organizations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise.
Preferred:
- Capable of handling challenging priorities and maintaining strong attention to detail under deadlines.
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
