As an Anatomic Pathology Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with hospital standards, overseeing laboratory services, monitoring staff competency, participating in performance improvement programs, and collaborating with healthcare teams. You will also provide training and mentorship to laboratory staff and maintain a safe working environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Clinical Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant hospital laboratory or pathology experience.
- Current New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Cytotechnologist, Histotechnologist, or Pathologists’ Assistant.
Preferred:
- ASCP certification.
- Strong leadership, laboratory operations management, and quality assurance experience.
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory regulations, accreditation standards, and pathology best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
