About the Role
As an AOC Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating budget requests, tracking capital outlay and supplemental appropriations, ensuring compliance with budget submissions, and monitoring expenditures against approved budgets. You will also analyze legislative impacts on budgets, prepare financial documents, and make presentations to various groups.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Four (4) years of budgeting and financial oversight experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with performance-based budgeting and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of Governmental Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
