About the Role
As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for developing grinding processes, CNC programming, and technical documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful machine performance and customer application success. Your duties will include process development, engineering collaboration, CNC programming, machine testing, continuous improvement, technical support, and sales proposal support, with travel to customer or vendor sites as required.
About You
Required:
- Proficiency in CNC programming including G & M code, macros, and parametric programming.
- Understanding of grinding processes, tooling, and machine tool applications.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls.
- Experience with troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with C# programming in Visual Studio for developing user interface and data collection systems.
- Experience with 3D CAD/CAM, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks.
