About the Role
As an Applied AI Engineer, you will work closely with Engineering, Sales, Support, and Operations to identify internal problems where AI can create efficiencies. You will design and build tools that integrate with existing workflows, utilizing LLMs and other AI technologies to streamline processes. The role requires quick adaptation to evolving tools and practices, with a focus on measurable impact and high ownership.
About You
Required:
- Experience taking AI-powered systems from idea to production with real user feedback.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and comfort with end-to-end service ownership.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs, embeddings, and structured tool-calling.
- Ability to integrate APIs, webhooks, and internal tools while considering failure modes and observability.
- Proactive approach to solving bottlenecks and improving workflows.
Preferred:
- Prior experience with enterprise SaaS, identity/auth, or security-sensitive systems.
- Exposure to protocols for connecting AI agents to real systems.
