About the Role
As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic III, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, replacing worn or broken parts, and performing maintenance on US military automotive equipment. Your tasks will include limited A/C repair, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You may also lead a team of mechanics and will be required to deploy to support equipment issuance or receipt.
About You
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Certificate of training from vocational school or recognized source in automotive maintenance or technology.
- 4+ years’ experience in directly relevant work.
- Possess personal tools that meet the required tool list.
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
Preferred:
- Completion of the basic and advanced automotive maintenance courses.
- Prior military maintenance training and experience on tactical and combat vehicles.
- EPA certification in Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Program.
- ASE Certified in A or T series.
