YMCA of Central Massachusetts is seeking an Aquatic Director (Full-Time, Exempt) to join their team in Worcester, MA. The role involves managing high-quality, member-focused aquatics programs and fostering a welcoming community culture.
About the Role
As the Aquatic Director, you will supervise existing program activities, establish new programs, monitor daily pool operations, recruit and train staff, manage the program budget, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also play a leadership role in community campaigns and maintain collaborative relationships with local organizations.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum age of 21.
Completion of Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens training within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
YMCA Team Leader certification.
Three years of related experience as an aquatics coordinator or supervisor.
Completion of YMCA aquatics training and trainer certifications.
