About the Role
As an Aquatic Program Coordinator, you will promote and implement the Ernie Els #GameOn Aquatics program, assist in recruiting and training staff, create safe environments for participants, and oversee aquatic programming. You will also enforce safety procedures, maintain records, coordinate memberships, and support marketing strategies to enhance community engagement.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Sport Science, Parks and Recreation or a related management field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing, overseeing, and implementing aquatics/recreation programs for individuals with autism or developmental differences.
- State of Florida Marino Adaptive Aquatics Certification.
- Minimum 2 years' experience teaching or coaching individuals with autism or other developmental differences.
- Minimum of 1 year of aquatic supervisor or managerial experience.
Preferred:
- Active Florida Lifeguard Certification.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analytic strategies.
- Experience in research related to recreation programming and autism.
- Bilingual proficiency.
- CPR/Basic Life Support Training.
- Professional Crisis Management Certification.
