About the Role
As an Aquatics Staff member, you will be responsible for lifeguarding duties, enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and providing swimming lessons. Lifeguards must maintain a safe environment and perform chemical testing, while Swim Instructors will teach swimming skills and build relationships with students and parents.
About You
Required:
- At least 15 years of age.
- Current YMCA Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
- AED, CPR, First Aid certified.
- Strong swimming skills in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly for Swim Instructors.
Preferred:
- Experience in teaching swimming lessons.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude towards students and staff.
