About the Role

As an AR Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing outstanding accounts on agings to determine accounts for collections, working on outstanding claims for next level appeals, answering provider questions, ensuring billing accuracy, and coordinating third-party billing with nursing facility personnel. You will also compile and prepare data and reports as required, striving to meet monthly goals and ensuring compliance with Cantex policies.

About You

Required:

A high school diploma is required; a college degree or equivalent advanced courses are preferred.
Prior skilled nursing facility billing experience required.
Understanding of UB04, ICD10 and insurance portals.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize workload.
Initiative-taking, organized, and detail-oriented individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred:

Strong knowledge of billing software (MyUnity/PCC preferred).
