About the Role
As an Arboriculture Intern, you will work alongside Bartlett's dedicated team of arborists, learning the fundamentals of scientific tree and shrub care. Your internship will include hands-on training in various aspects of arboriculture such as pruning, rigging, cabling, bracing, and operating equipment. You will also gain insights into integrated pest management, property inspections, tree identification, and client relations.
About You
Required:
- Pursuing a degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Turfgrass, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field.
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- Interest in working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred:
- Experience or coursework related to tree and shrub care.
- Knowledge of safety practices in outdoor work environments.
