About the Role
As an Arborist Ground Person, you will learn to safely perform various aspects of arboriculture, including pruning trees, rigging, cabling and bracing, and removing hazardous trees. You will also maintain and operate equipment, implement safety procedures, and assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders. This position offers a unique entry-level opportunity to develop your career in tree care.
About You
Required:
- A passion for nature and the outdoors.
- Interest in working outdoors year-round performing manual labor in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience.
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field.
