As an Area Health Information Specialist II, you will be responsible for processing requests for patient health information, maintaining confidentiality, managing patient health records, and ensuring compliance with medical privacy regulations. You will also assist with administrative duties, respond to requests for patient records, and participate in project teams to advance operational strategies.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-year Health Information related experience.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong data entry skills.
Preferred:
- Previous production/metric-based work experience.
- In-person customer service experience.
- Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers.
